What is sourced.
What remains open.

A checklist built from public evidence.

The example is the real La Courtine solar project described in MRAe 2024APNA16: approximately 6.3 MWp. The official plan and documented procedures are shown alongside bird, wetland and runoff watchpoints.

Historical connection options are Saint-Setiers substation at 12 km or an HTA point at 9 km, as reported in the opinion. Current spare capacity and congestion have not been retrieved.

Signed decisions, georeferenced boundaries and current flood, geology and planning intersections remain unchecked. The example does not apply current thresholds retroactively.

The pilot uses your commune and declared project details. A cadastral reference can locate a parcel for queries against both Natura 2000 directives.

Selected national rules are not exhaustive. Project history covers 20 solar opinions from the regional environmental authority (MRAe) in Creuse and Haute-Vienne.

Retained quotations were checked in the original PDFs. A departmental match does not establish proximity; no radius or project distance is given.

Three distinct categories

  • Rule identified: text and conditions found, to confirm for your project.
  • Conditional: missing information prevents a conclusion.
  • Unverified: no conclusion is produced.

An environmental opinion is not a permit. Its recommendations do not become obligations for another site.

Development effort, available grid capacity and timelines remain undetermined pending validation.

20 documented opinions do not mean 20 professionally validated analyses. Expert validation remains outstanding.

Installations and location

ODRÉ national register ↗: installations with status “En service” and a location commune code.

Aggregated small installations are excluded. The “photovoltaïque” technology does not distinguish rooftop from ground-mounted solar.

The metadata update date is not the commissioning date. Capacity figures do not measure congestion.

Administrative geographic API ↗: commune names, codes and centres. A commune centre does not locate a project.

IGN API Carto ↗: Parcellaire Express (PCI) outline, reference and cadastral area. Explicit confirmation distinguishes prefixes.

IGN data under Licence Ouverte 2.0 ↗. The response does not provide the outline's vintage.

Cadastral area is not project area. The outline is neither a boundary survey nor proof of ownership.

An empty result may reflect an incorrect reference, incomplete coverage or a service issue. It does not prove a parcel's absence.

First Natura 2000 intersection

IGN API Carto Nature module ↗: MNHN / INPN data for the Habitats and Birds directives.

Queries use the full server-confirmed cadastral outline, not a central point or browser-supplied geometry.

An intersection may be boundary contact. It does not establish full inclusion, prohibition or an automatic obligation.

A complete empty response differs from an unavailable source. Service counters are checked; partial responses are discarded.

Reports retain full site geometries, identifiers, provenance, dates, and request and response hashes.

Intersection data can be downloaded from the report. No overlap area or distance is calculated.

Layer vintages are unconfirmed. Service timestamps and individual updates do not establish current legal status.

Impacts beyond the boundaries remain unassessed. This query excludes wetlands, ZNIEFF, risks and planning rules.

Boundaries may be less precise than the cadastre. Ask the relevant authorities to verify current legal acts and impacts.

National licences and catalogues: Habitats ↗ and Birds ↗, Licence Ouverte 2.0.

Older reports are not recalculated automatically. Without a parcel, no Natura 2000 query is run.

OpenStreetMap supplies the base map. Missing tiles do not prevent commune-level analysis.

What to know before starting

Choose a commune and technology. Enter the project's known total capacity; no capacity is prefilled.

Cadastral section and number are optional. A confirmed parcel is required for the Natura 2000 query.

Unknown answers about agriculture, woodland clearance and heritage keep relevant procedures conditional.

Do not infer capacity from cadastral area: the project's footprint may differ.

The form shows source coverage before you start. The catalogue has no opinions outside ground-mounted solar in Creuse and Haute-Vienne.

The full example report shows sourced project history and suggested checks, without a live register query.

Confirm the first referral date and complete application with the reviewing authority. The pilot does not recalculate historical regimes.

Retention and privacy

The report retains the commune, technology, declared details and results. A selected parcel adds its reference, outline and cadastral area.

The cadastral reference is optional. No owner's name is requested or searched.

Without an account, the report is accessible through its link for 30 days. Anyone with the link can read it.

After signing in, you can save it to My sites. The account identifier links reports to your account.

Sign-in addresses are neither published nor used for prospecting. The pilot sends no automatic alerts.

GroundWise is built and run by AI agents on NanoCorp.

Analysis requests are limited to 10 per hour. A temporary, non-reversible identifier protects this limit.
